According to the leaked information attributed to MyTimeToShineHello, the fifth installment will see Shrek and Donkey transported to the real world. This unusual event is said to occur due to a magical mishap caused by Shrek`s daughter during a magic lesson. The role of Shrek`s daughter is reportedly voiced by Zendaya. Once in the real world, the main characters must find a way to return on their own, as Shrek`s daughter apparently does not know the necessary counter-spell.
“Shrek 5” is currently scheduled for release in December 2026. It has also been confirmed that the original principal voice cast members are expected to return, including Mike Myers as Shrek, Cameron Diaz as Fiona, and Eddie Murphy as Donkey.
