Solo on Cyber Goose’s The International 2025 Qualifier Run: ‘Aurora Was Much Stronger’

Aleksey “Solo” Berezin, captain of the Dota 2 team Cyber Goose, commented on his team`s performance in the closed qualifiers for The International 2025 in Eastern Europe. He noted in a Telegram post that their opponent, Aurora Gaming, was significantly stronger.

It was a good run through the lower bracket. We tried our best. It wasn`t quite enough; Aurora is much stronger. We are a young, promising team. We felt your support; the guys read the comments, laughed, and were energized by the positive emotions. Thank you very much. I hope to stream in the coming days and prepare for the Riyadh Masters 2025 qualifier, which starts in three days. Aurora won`t be there, so our chances are better.

The closed qualifiers for The International 2025 in Eastern Europe took place online from June 4 to 8. Teams competed for a single spot in the main stage of the tournament. In the grand final, Cyber Goose lost to Aurora Gaming with a score of 0:3.
