Professional Dota 2 player Daniil ‘Stormstormer’ Schoetzau has officially announced his departure from AVULUS and is now actively seeking a new team to join. This announcement was made on his personal social media.
In his statement, Stormstormer expressed positive sentiments towards his former organization, AVULUS, but indicated his desire to explore new opportunities. “From today, I am officially looking for a team again. AVULUS is a great organization, and I can sincerely say only good things about them. However, I decided that I want to leave the team and look for new options,” he stated.
He also conveyed his gratitude to his former teammates, saying, “I am grateful to my teammates for the amazing moments we spent together, and I wish them all the best.” Looking forward, Stormstormer added, “And now I am ready for new achievements and more energized than ever. Feel free to contact me!” He concluded his message with “Thank you, AVULUS.”
AVULUS had previously announced the departure of two players on March 21st, including Stormstormer and support player Marcel ‘Ekki’ Golovienko. Both players had been with the team since August 2024.
