G2 Esports CS2 coach Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas has shared his thoughts on Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski as the team`s captain. In an interview, TaZ spoke about Snax`s leadership and development within the team.
TaZ mentioned that Snax is driven to prove himself as a top-tier in-game leader. He also noted Snax`s ability to handle pressure, a trait from his earlier career, and emphasized Snax`s growth and maturity in his approach to the game and handling criticism. TaZ expressed his enjoyment of working with Snax, praising his understanding of Counter-Strike and his team-oriented mindset, which TaZ believes many players could learn from. The coaching staff is currently focused on encouraging Snax to be more vocal, expressing confidence that with time, they will achieve their desired results.
Snax assumed the captaincy of G2 Esports on July 3rd. Under his leadership, the team won BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 and secured a 3rd-4th place finish at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. Currently, G2 is competing at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025. They have advanced to the playoffs and will face MOUZ in the quarter-finals on March 28th at 18:30 Moscow time.
