Team Spirit, a well-known entity in the competitive Counter-Strike arena, has announced a significant update to its CS2 roster. The organization has officially signed Ivan “zweih” Gogin, a promising 17-year-old Russian player, bringing new blood into their main lineup.
The addition of zweih follows the team`s decision to move Boris “magixx” Vorobyev to the reserve roster on July 7th. Zweih steps in to fill this vacancy, indicating Team Spirit`s strategic shift as they look towards future competitions.
Prior to joining the Dragons, zweih was part of Nemiga Gaming, having linked up with them in June 2024. While his time with Nemiga was brief, it evidently showcased enough potential to attract the attention of an organization like Team Spirit.
Despite his young age, zweih isn`t entirely new to the professional circuit, having started his competitive Counter-Strike career in 2023. His past teams include VaselineWorms – a name that certainly sticks in the memory, for better or worse – along with POLET and HOTU Academy. His recent performance metrics suggest a player on an upward trajectory; over the last three months, he boasts a commendable rating of 1.16, a number that undoubtedly played a role in Team Spirit`s recruitment decision.
