The Team Vitality CS2 lineup has emerged victorious in the fifth season of the ESL Grand Slam, securing a significant prize of one million dollars. The team earned this prestigious trophy following their championship win at IEM Melbourne 2025.
To become a winner of the ESL Grand Slam series, formerly known as the Intel Grand Slam, a team is required to win four Tier 1 tournaments organized by ESL. These victories must occur within a series of ten eligible events. Team Vitality successfully achieved this goal by winning IEM Cologne 2024, IEM Katowice 2025, ESL Pro League Season 21, and IEM Melbourne 2025.
IEM Melbourne 2025, the final tournament contributing to their Grand Slam achievement, was held in Australia from April 21st to 27th. Sixteen teams competed in this event for a total prize pool of $300,000.
