Counter-Strike 2 analyst Duncan “Thorin” Shields commented on Team Vitality after their victory at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025. In a post on X, Shields stated that the team will win the upcoming major and ESL Grand Slam, and also start the first era in CS2.

BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 took place from March 19th to 30th. Teams competed for a prize pool of $400,000. In the final, Team Vitality was stronger than MOUZ with a score of 3:2. ZywOo was recognized as the MVP of the competition.
