Esports analyst Duncan `Thorin` Shields recently shared his opinion on the social media platform X, stating that the current Team Falcons roster in CS2 is one of the select few teams that possess the ability to defeat Team Vitality.
“With such a star-studded roster, Falcons are one of the few teams who can actually dream of beating Vitality right now.”
This statement comes after a recent clash between the two teams at IEM Melbourne 2025. Team Vitality emerged victorious over Team Falcons in the upper bracket of Group B, securing a 2-0 series win. The map scores were 16:13 on Mirage and 13:8 on Inferno. This result sent Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut`s squad to the playoff semifinals, while Falcons moved to the quarterfinals.
IEM Melbourne 2025 is currently underway, running from April 21st to 27th, featuring competing teams vying for a $300,000 prize pool.
