CS2 analyst Duncan “Thorin” Shields has suggested that Virtus.pro should consider replacing Denis “electroNic” Sharipov with Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov. In a post on X, the British analyst stated that Boombl4 should become the captain of the team.
Thorin believes that by replacing electroNic with Boombl4, Virtus.pro could break into the top 5 world rankings.
ElectroNic joined Virtus.pro in April 2024. Since then, the team has achieved a top-4 finish at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 and Esports World Cup 2024, qualified for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, and competed in the playoffs of several other significant tournaments.
As of the time of writing, Virtus.pro is participating in PGL Bucharest 2025. The team is in the decisive round of the group stage; victory would secure them a playoff spot, while defeat would result in elimination from the competition.
