According to an analysis by Deadline, the financial results for films released in 2024 have been compiled, revealing the top five movies that generated the most profit for their respective studios. Notably, three animated pictures secured spots within this top-performing list.
Claiming the leading position as the most financially successful movie of 2024 is the animated sequel “Inside Out 2”. With total expenditures covering production, promotion, and other related costs estimated at around $500 million, the film achieved a remarkable revenue of $1.15 billion. Other titles featuring among the top earners include the follow-up to “Moana”, “Despicable Me 4”, and additional productions.
