In a recent vlog for Aurora Gaming, Александр `TORONTOTOKYO` Хертек, the offlaner for their Dota 2 squad, shared his thoughts on fostering healthy relationships and effective dynamics within a team environment.

He emphasized that conflicts are not inherently bad and should be present in any team, provided they occur at an `adequate level`. TORONTOTOKYO highlighted that a common pitfall is avoiding necessary confrontations out of fear of upsetting a teammate. He believes this hesitation prevents players from offering feedback that could genuinely help someone improve.

Beyond conflict avoidance, TORONTOTOKYO identified other significant issues: unreliability and a lack of mutual demandingness. He defined unreliability as not committing 100% effort, particularly in preparation. He stated that for a team to function successfully, members must hold each other accountable. According to him, this expectation for mutual demandingness is a largely logical requirement for collective success.

Separately, TORONTOTOKYO has previously explained that his sometimes overtly emotional reactions during matchmaking games are primarily performed for the sake of creating engaging content.
