Tundra Esports Knocks Out Talon Esports, Advances at Riyadh Masters 2025

The Riyadh Masters 2025 Dota 2 tournament, with its impressive $3 million prize pool, continues to heat up in Saudi Arabia. As teams battle through the brutal Elimination Phase, every match is a high-stakes affair, determining who continues their quest for glory and who packs their bags.

In one such critical encounter, Tundra Esports faced off against Talon Esports. For both teams, this match represented a pivotal moment: victory meant securing a coveted spot in the playoff bracket, while defeat signaled an abrupt end to their tournament run.

When the virtual dust settled on the two games played, it was Tundra Esports, featuring players like Neta “33” Shapira, who demonstrated superior form. Tundra delivered a convincing 2-0 victory over their opponents. This decisive win ensures their progression deeper into the tournament, keeping their championship aspirations very much alive.

Conversely, for Talon Esports, whose roster includes Rafflay “Mikoto” Fathur, the loss is a tough pill to swallow. Having fallen in the Elimination Phase, their journey at Riyadh Masters 2025 concludes here. Talon Esports finishes the tournament in the 9th-12th place bracket, earning a prize of $75,000. While a significant sum, it`s undoubtedly not the outcome the team envisioned when arriving in Saudi Arabia. Their Riyadh adventure ends perhaps sooner than they had hoped.

The tournament, which commenced on July 8th and runs until July 19th, features 16 top-tier Dota 2 teams from around the globe competing for ultimate supremacy and a lion`s share of that massive prize pool.

With Tundra Esports now looking ahead to the challenges of the playoffs, the Elimination Phase continues. The next highly anticipated match on the schedule features Team Falcons taking on Natus Vincere (NAVI), set to play on July 13th at 19:00 Moscow time.

As the field of contenders narrows, the intensity of Riyadh Masters 2025 only escalates, promising more thrilling Dota 2 action in the days to come.
