The streaming platform Twitch will soon offer a way to recognize the creativity of viewers who make popular clips from broadcasts. Leaderboards showcasing the most successful clip creators will be visible to all viewers.
This feature was initially discussed in late 2024 but has not yet been launched. The clip creator leaderboards are expected to be placed alongside the existing rankings for gifted subscriptions and Bits donations on channels. The release date for this feature is currently unknown.
This new system is expected to motivate viewers to capture engaging moments from streams more often and share their clips. Viewers whose clips achieve the highest number of views within a specific period and reach the top of the leaderboard will be rewarded with a special badge.
