Broken Arms Games, an independent studio based in Italy, has commenced a free playtest for their forthcoming golf club management simulation game, Under Par Golf Architect. PC gamers can currently access this testing phase to get a feel for the upcoming title.
A fundamental aspect of running a virtual golf club in the game centers around designing the course itself. The playtest build equips players with tools to sculpt the terrain and modify the environment, enabling them to craft their ideal golf course layouts from scratch.
While the comprehensive version of the game will feature extensive club management mechanics, this specific playtest puts the spotlight squarely on the course creation toolset. The developers` primary objective is to evaluate the robustness and versatility of these instruments, ensuring players can successfully design unique courses with coherent aesthetics and features that meet their expectations.
Yves Hohler, co-founder and creative director at Broken Arms Games, commented on the release: “This open playtest represents a crucial step in our development cycle. We are enthusiastic about opening up access to the community and gathering valuable feedback regarding the overall user experience.”
Players interested in participating in the evaluation can gain free access to the playtest through Steam. Broken Arms Games also intends to feature Under Par Golf Architect during the upcoming Future Games Show, where they plan to unveil further details about the gameplay mechanics of this casual management simulation.
