V1olent` Discusses Criticism from NS During His Time at B8 Esports

L1ga Team`s carry player, Alexander “you < <” Pak, also known as v1olent`, has commented on the criticism he received from streamer Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov. In a recent interview, he noted that he learned to cope with negative comments over time.

Asked about how criticism from the popular streamer NS affected him, v1olent` replied: “It was very difficult. Back then, I took criticism very poorly, took everything very personally. I would join a public game, and almost every player who didn`t like me would gloat, saying I was an `accbuyer,` that I was on a losing streak. It was really hard because of that, but over time I let it go. Now I don`t hold any ill will towards NS at all.”

Pak stated that criticism used to significantly impact his individual performance, but it was the difficult period with B8 Esports that taught him to handle external evaluation more easily.

Asked if his previous statement, “It`s important not to take community criticism too personally,” was the main lesson from his time in B8, he confirmed: “Essentially, yes, that was the main lesson. External pressure affected my game. During a match, I might start thinking about something – for example, if I made a bad play, the thought would cross my mind: `What will people think of me? What will they write? Maybe I really am an accbuyer? Maybe NS is right?` I used to have those thoughts.”

“you < <” played for B8 Esports from 2021 to 2022. The team did not achieve high results and set a club anti-record for consecutive losses, losing 21 matches before finally breaking the streak.

Later, “you < <” played for YNT and Nemiga Gaming, and in 2024 joined L1ga Team. The team became the champions of CCT Series 2, reached the finals of 1win Series Dota 2 Punch, and participated in BetBoom Dacha Dota 2 2024.
