Valve has released a Dota 2 update that fixed a bug related to the incorrect display of the buyback cost for the hero Doom when using the Devil`s Bargain aspect. This information was shared by Team Spirit analyst Mark “sikle” Lerman on his personal Telegram channel.
The error became apparent during the match between Aurora Gaming and PARIVISION at PGL Wallachia Season 4, specifically affecting Aurora`s carry, Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko. After a lengthy technical pause, Aurora Gaming conceded the match to PARIVISION.
According to sikle, the bug was fixed by Valve during the technical pause itself, though he noted that the fix would not have changed the outcome of that particular match.
Following their loss, Aurora Gaming moved to the lower bracket of the tournament, where they are scheduled to play against Tundra Esports.
The PGL Wallachia Season 4 tournament is taking place in Bucharest, Romania, from April 19 to 27, featuring a significant prize pool of $1 million.
