Valve Corporation has unveiled the initial list of teams that have received direct invitations to The International 2025 Dota 2 championship. This announcement was made public on the game`s page on the Steam platform.
A total of eight teams have been directly invited to the prestigious tournament. The roster of invited teams includes BetBoom Team, Team Spirit, PARIVISION, Team Liquid, All Gamers Global, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Falcons, and Tundra Esports.
The International 2025 is scheduled to take place from September 4th to 14th in Hamburg, Germany. The event will feature a total of 16 competing teams. The remaining eight slots in the tournament will be filled by teams who successfully qualify through regional qualifiers, which will be held across six different regions. As of the time of this publication, the total prize pool for the championship has not yet been announced.
