Virtus.pro CEO on Recent CS2 Coach Departures

Virtus.pro CEO Nikolay Petrosyan has explained the high turnover of coaches for the organization`s CS2 roster over the past year. Speaking in an interview with Erik “Shoke” Shokov, Petrosyan offered insights into the reasons behind the departures.

He stated that Dastan had contributed everything he could to the team under Jame`s leadership. PASHANOJ`s tenure was intended to be a brief, temporary solution for one tournament. Regarding Xoma, Petrosyan noted that the team simply didn`t perform effectively under his guidance, leading to a swift separation.

The article further details the timeline of these changes: Dastan Akbaev, who coached the team since 2019, was replaced by Andrey “Xoma” Mironenko in May 2024. However, Xoma departed by September, with Pavel “PASHANOJ” Legostaev taking over temporarily. PASHANOJ was then removed in April 2025, and Ivan “F_1N” Kochugov assumed the coaching role.
