The esports organization Virtus.pro has announced its return to the competitive Street Fighter 6 scene. The club has signed American player Psycho (Shawn Williams) to represent them in the game. The announcement was made on the team`s social media platforms.
Virtus.pro stated that they now have a better understanding of the scene, enabling them to set clearer goals and create plans for achieving them. Their primary objective is to perform well at the Esports World Cup, but they will also compete in ranked tournaments and work on long-term development of fighting games within Virtus.pro.
According to Liquipedia, Psycho has been a professional Street Fighter player since 2014. He has already received an invitation to the Esports World Cup 2025 as a result of his second-place finish at the Street Fighter League World Championship 2024 with FlyQuest.
