Representatives from the Twitch platform have restricted access to the channel belonging to streamer Alexander “VooDooSh” Shalchinov. This restriction took effect on April 30th, at approximately 21:00 Moscow time (MSK).

The exact reasons behind this ban have not been officially disclosed. Viewers attempting to visit VooDooSh`s channel are currently met with a message stating: “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch`s Community Guidelines or Terms of Sale.”

Numerous observers have suggested that Shalchinov`s ban might be an unintentional action. During April, a significant number of content creators on Twitch, particularly those involved in promotional activities including the advertisement of official bookmakers, encountered similar temporary suspensions. Many of these bans were subsequently appealed and often overturned through communication channels with Twitch representatives.

It`s worth noting that Twitch had previously imposed a restriction specifically limiting access to VooDooSh`s channel within the territory of Russia. That earlier restriction occurred during a livestream event featuring a poker tournament.
