Lionsgate has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming horror sequel, The Strangers: Chapter 2. The preview was made available on YouTube, giving audiences a first look at the terrifying return of the masked figures.
Serving as a direct continuation of The Strangers: Chapter 1 (also known as The Strangers: Prey at Night in some regions), this film picks up after the events of the first movie. The original film chronicled a home invasion by a group of mysterious individuals in masks who targeted a married couple. The sequel`s plot centers around the revelation that one of the victims, Maya, survived the brutal attack. Consequently, the enigmatic “Strangers” re-emerge, seemingly determined to hunt her down and complete their deadly objective.
The world premiere of The Strangers: Chapter 2 is scheduled for September 26, 2025, with its release in Russia slated for October 2. The film was directed by Renny Harlin, known for his work on action thrillers such as Cliffhanger and Die Hard 2.
