Warner Bros. has unveiled a new trailer for the highly anticipated “Formula 1” movie. The trailer was released on YouTube.
The film centers on veteran racer Sunny Hayes, portrayed by Brad Pitt (known for “Fight Club,” “Snatch”). Hayes becomes a mentor to Joshua Pierce, a promising newcomer played by Damson Idris (“Black Mirror,” “Snowfall”). The trailer also touches upon the theme of F1 being a team sport, despite the driver being alone on the track.
Joseph Kosinski, known for directing “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Only the Brave,” helmed the film. The production also involved real Formula 1 teams and drivers, ensuring authenticity. The movie is currently set to premiere on June 25, 2025.
