Gaimin Gladiators` Dota 2 carry, Watson, has shared his perspective on the team`s recent results. According to Watson, the team is currently performing at a “normal” level, with expectations for future improvement.
During a Twitch stream, Watson addressed a viewer`s question about the team`s perceived underperformance in professional play. He responded by questioning this assessment, pointing to their successful qualification for Riyadh Masters 2025 and their second-place finish at FISSURE Universe: Episode 4. Watson stated that their gameplay was “good” and expressed confidence in continued progress.
“[Chat question: `Why are you guys so bad at pro?`] Why bad? We qualified for Riyadh Masters 2025, right? Qualified. We took top 2 in the last tour – well, at FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 – right? Took it. Although we didn`t… Although we played normally… We played well. It will only get better from here.”
Riyadh Masters 2025 is scheduled to take place from July 8th to 21st. Sixteen teams will compete in the tournament, with Gaimin Gladiators receiving a direct invitation as the current champions.
