Gamers can look forward to an expansion of sports titles on the Nintendo Switch 2, with WWE 2K25 set to release on July 23, 2025. All three versions – the Standard Edition, Deadman Edition, and Bloodline Edition – will be available simultaneously and are currently open for pre-orders.
The Deadman and Bloodline Editions, which cost more, include various downloadable content (DLC). This features the recent Dunk & Destruction Pack, allowing players to use NBA stars Shaquille O`Neal, Tyrese Haliburton, and Jalen Brunson in the game.
WWE 2K25 boasts a huge selection of over 300 wrestlers and special guest characters. Besides a single-player story mode, the game introduces its first PvPvE mode called “The Island.” This mode moves the action outside the wrestling ring and draws inspiration from NBA 2K`s “The City.” Players can fully customize their characters in The Island mode.
Furthermore, the MyGM mode in the game allows up to three friends to play together, enhancing the multiplayer experience.
WWE 2K25 was initially released on March 14 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
