The organizers of EPIC EFT: Arena – Season 6 have announced a revision of the grand final results. Due to a violation of competition rules by the XP Academy team, their victory over Virtus.pro in the decisive series has been annulled. The new champion is now the team led by Yaroslav “FMX” Kurzin. The decision was announced on social media.
Following the grand final, a violation of the EPIC EFT: Arena rules was discovered. The judging panel, based on tournament regulations, was compelled to amend the grand final results and award a technical defeat to XP Academy.
Virtus.pro are now the champions of EPIC EFT: Arena Season 6!
The specific rule violated by XP Academy has not been disclosed. The decisive match of the sixth season of EPIC EFT: Arena took place on the evening of April 6th and concluded with Virtus.pro`s defeat with a score of 0:3 (7:9 on Fort, 4:9 on Bowl, and 4:9 on Bay 5).
For first place, Virtus.pro will receive ₽500,000. The total prize pool for the competition was one million rubles.
