Xtreme Gaming faced off against Virtus.pro in the grand final of the FISSURE Special Dota 2 tournament. Led by Wang “Ame” Chunyu, Xtreme Gaming emerged victorious, defeating Virtus.pro with a score of 3:2 to claim the championship title.
For their first-place finish, Xtreme Gaming earned $35,000. Virtus.pro, securing second place, received $18,000. L1ga Team finished in third place, taking home $7,000.
The FISSURE Special tournament was held online from April 5th to 13th. Seven teams competed for a total prize pool of $70,000. Each match featured an Elimination Draft rule, preventing teams from picking the same hero more than once in a series.
