Yandex’s Dota 2 Team Faces Transfer Hurdles

Yandex is reportedly encountering difficulties in its attempts to sign Ilya “Squad1x” Kuvaldin and Evgeny “Noticed” Ignatenko for its Dota 2 roster. This information comes from Ivan Burachenko, former head of esports at PARI.

Yandex is making another attempt to assemble a Dota 2 team. Unlike last time when the potential roster was clear from the project`s start, this time there`s no clear indication of the team composition. The project is again on hold due to a lack of players. There have been many transfer requests, but none have progressed.

Solo was indeed considered for this roster, as reported by the media, and might still be. However, there`s no concrete information from Yandex yet. Alexey himself is interested in the project. It was mentioned that Metaratings claims he is responsible for assembling the roster, but this is incorrect. He is involved in player selection, but it`s not his primary task in this project.

Negotiations with Virtus.pro regarding Squad1x and Noticed are facing issues concerning transfer terms. Sources suggest the chance of success is very low. This is understandable as they are two players from the active Virtus.pro roster, and there are no other players in sight at the moment.

Alexey “prblms” Parshukov was willing to join Yandex, but only if TA2000 was also part of the team. This condition was also not met.

Rumors of Alexey “Solo” Berezin and Alexey “PRBLMS” Parshukov potentially joining the Yandex team surfaced on March 24th. Later, speculation arose about Squad1x, Noticed, and Aybek “TA2000” Tokayev being considered for the roster. As of now, there has been no official announcement about the new roster.
