YouTuber Finny Da Legend Killed During Livestream by Rival Vlogger

Las Vegas-based YouTuber Finny Da Legend was fatally shot while conducting a live stream. The incident occurred while he was walking with his wife near the fountains of the Bellagio casino.

During the stream, a man, described as bald and wearing dark glasses, entered the camera`s view. He reportedly drew a handgun and fired multiple shots at Finny Da Legend. After the blogger`s wife screamed, the assailant then shot her as well before leaving the scene. Although many bystanders were present, no one else was injured.

Police quickly responded to the scene. The perpetrator was identified as local blogger Manuel `SinCity-Manny` Ruiz. Reports indicate Ruiz was known to Finny Da Legend, having previously had online conflicts with him on social media platforms. On the same day as the shooting, SinCity-Manny allegedly posted a video stating he was “driving around Las Vegas looking for a friend and his baby.” Ruiz reportedly surrendered to police several hours after the incident.

Tragically, this is not the first time fatal shootings have occurred during live streams. For example, in May, Jamaican reggae artist Baba Skeng was reportedly killed by an assailant during a TikTok stream. In the same country during 2024, three other content creators were reportedly shot under similar circumstances, though none of the perpetrators in those cases were apprehended.
