Alexander `zorte` Zagodyrenko, a player for BetBoom Team in CS2, shared his thoughts after the team qualified for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. He mentioned feeling the pressure leading up to the decisive match against 9Pandas and opting to prepare for it from home rather than the team`s bootcamp. His reflections were shared on Telegram.
Zorte stated:
“This is a day to remember – BetBoom Team is heading to the Major! It`s been a very stressful season and year, especially for me. It was tough to stay focused with mostly online games, and we missed out on LAN events to gain points and regular LAN tournament experience. I was so nervous before the 9Pandas game that I decided to go home for some peace and quiet to properly prepare. I think after the first map, it gave the guys confidence that it was the right approach.”
“Overall, I`m incredibly happy. I hope we can build on this success. We`ve overcome a significant hurdle. After the game, I was overwhelmed with emotion.”
BetBoom Team secured their place at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 by defeating 9Pandas with a 3:1 score in the qualifiers.
The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is set to be held in the USA, featuring 32 teams competing for a $1.25 million prize pool.
